*Binance Hacked? Let's Talk True vs FUD*
I saw this image everywhere today - Binance logo with HACKED stamp and BNB transactions from PancakeSwap, Binance Wrapp, GMGN, LiquidMesh.
Is Binance really hacked? NO.
Binance itself is not hacked. What you see on the right side is normal on-chain BNB activity - people swapping on PancakeSwap, bridging Wrapped BNB. Every day billions move like that. The HACKED stamp is fake FUD to make people panic.
But why does this image go viral?
Because in Oct 2022 BNB Chain was exploited for 570M, and scammers always reuse old news. Plus CZ himself warned on Oct 28 about 4 major data leaks - Coinbase, Bithumb, and phishing emails using real addresses. People confuse data leak with hack.
Real question:
If Binance ever got hacked, what would you do? Sell, hold, or buy the dip?
My rules to stay SAFU:
1. No SMS 2FA - use authenticator or passkey
2. One unique email for Binance only
3. Never click links from DM even if they know your name
4. Most funds in cold storage, not exchange
Binance SAFU fund is 1B to cover users, but your own security is first.
Have you ever received a fake Binance security email? How did you know it was fake?
