Analysts say Strategy’s preferred-stock cleanup puts the bitcoin treasury firm closer to resuming $BTC buys.
On October 30, 2026, The Block reported that StoneX and TD Cowen kept buy ratings after Strategy’s third-quarter results, arguing a steadier preferred-credit setup and deeper liquidity should help the company issue digital credit more efficiently and grow bitcoin per share again. Strategy’s October 29, 2026 release said it held 848,517 bitcoin as of October 25, grew USD assets to $5.07 billion including a $4.83 billion reserve (about 3.4 years of dividend and interest coverage), and executed about $2.04 billion of STRC preferred buybacks.
Preferred holders also approved daily dividends, with STRC accruing daily from November 1, 2026. Near-term bitcoin-per-share growth took a back seat while cash and preferred support came first; analysts now frame that repair as the setup for renewed accumulation.
