Garlinghouse Says Ripple Will Never Give Up on XRP Some reassurances matter less for the words and more for what follows them. 🤝 At Swell, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse pushed back on the idea that Ripple has moved on from $XRP to focus on RLUSD. “We will never give up on XRP,” he said, calling the two complementary rather than competing. He backed it with a list. Ripple is the largest XRP holder, the most active code contributor to the XRP Ledger, and an investor across the ecosystem that plans to keep investing aggressively. RLUSD is split roughly half on XRPL and half on Ethereum, with XRPL’s share growing much faster over the past year. The business side is booming too. 📈 Garlinghouse says Ripple ended last year at a revenue run rate of about $300 million and expects to finish this year near $900 million, across payments, Ripple Prime and Ripple Treasury, which now serves 1,000+ corporates. And here’s the honest tension. Much of that growth comes from products that don’t need XRP at all, which is exactly why the doubts keep coming back. For me, the proof won’t be in a speech, it’ll be in how much of Ripple’s business moves onto the ledger and uses XRP. 💡 #Ripple #Altcoin Season#
