hot take, most new chains dont die from bad tech, they die from liquidity spread across too many copies of the same app, and $KAT is basically a bet against that katana concentrates defi liquidity into a core set of apps and assets instead of letting every new dex and lending market fight for scraps the vaultbridge part is what caught my eye, bridged assets get put to work for yield and that yield goes back to people in the ecosystem then theres vkat, the staked version, which directs where emissions go and earns fees from the apps, so holding it unstaked kinda misses the point what keeps me careful is supply, only about a third is circulating so theres a lot still to come decent week for it but imo the real test is whether that liquidity sticks once incentives cool off focused liquidity chains or the open free for all, which one wins ?
