Trezor urged customers who bought hardware wallets from CryptoBilis since March 2026 to move funds immediately after a disclosure alleged a physical implant in a Safe 5. Trezor considers the disclosure credible but has not yet received the reported device for detailed examination. The reported implant could capture recovery phrases displayed on the screen and send the information through a mobile network. Trezor CCO Danny Sanders said affected buyers should contact support to receive a replacement device. No loss of user funds has been reported in the Trezor case.
