Bitcoin and Abu Dhabi real estate in one
portfolio? Someone's actually doing it
Standard Asset Company just opened its
HQ in Abu Dhabi with a plan worth $1.5B:
build a D$BTC reserve and buy premium
property in the UAE
The Bitcoin part will be managed by
Coinbase, so this isn't some small side
experiment
One thing to keep in mind: the $1.5B covers
both Bitcoin and real estate, and it's still a
plan. We'll see how much actually ends up
in $BTC TC.
Either way, the UAE keeps pulling in big
money for crypto, and the "Bitcoin + real
assets" combo looks like it's becoming a
trend
