BTC-CQB (Cost-Basis Quantile Bands) is a Bitcoin-only valuation and regime indicator. It estimates, bar by bar, a statistically-derived "fair value" band structure around Bitcoin's price by measuring how far price has historically deviated from its own rolling cost basis, and expressing that deviation as a live empirical probability distribution rather than as a fixed multiple of standard deviation. The result is five adaptive bands — Q10, Q25, Q50, Q75 and Q90 — that behave like percentile rails: Q50 is the statistical center of gravity (the cost basis itself), Q75 and Q90 mark the levels price has historically only traded above 25% and 10% of the time respectively, and Q25 and Q10 mark the symmetric levels on the downside. Everything else built into the script — the fast cost-basis overlay, the bandwidth squeeze detector, the divergence engine, the heat-map candle coloring, and the dashboard — exists to help a trader read what that distribution is doing right now, without needing to run the percentile math by hand.
