Risk Management: The Real Secret of Trading

Most traders search for the perfect entry. Successful traders focus on something simpler: how much they can lose if they are wrong. That one habit protects your capital, and your capital is what lets you trade another day.

✅ DO this:
• Decide your stop-loss or invalidation level before you enter a trade, and respect it.
• Risk only a small part of your capital on any single trade.
• Plan your exit in advance, for both a win and a loss.
• If a setup does not fit your plan, wait. Taking no trade is better than taking a bad trade.

❌ DON'T do this:
• Don't risk everything on one coin or one trade, no matter how confident you feel.
• Don't move your stop-loss further away just because price is going against you.
• Don't trade to recover a loss quickly. Revenge trading after a loss usually makes the loss bigger.

One common mistake, explained simply: trading without a stop-loss. When there is no level where you accept you were wrong, a small loss can quietly grow into a big one, and hope replaces your plan. A stop-loss is not about expecting to lose — it is about keeping one loss small enough that it cannot end your trading.

Remember: success does not come in one day. It comes from discipline, patience, risk management and learning every day.
