“I want to study trends, but I would rather avoid entering when volatility is especially high.”
That feels more natural than immediately filling in a collection of unfamiliar parameters.
AkronDEX o3 supports describing trading requirements in natural language, which makes the starting point more approachable for beginners. Users can begin by explaining what they care about and what they want to understand, then gradually move toward more specific strategy details.
It reduces the difficulty of expressing a requirement. That is a practical benefit.
Understanding trading itself still takes time, though. Saying “control risk” and knowing exactly what a risk rule restricts are different stages of understanding. A larger indicator library will not automatically fill that gap.
For newcomers, much of o3’s appeal comes from offering an accessible way to participate. They can put a question into words first, then learn the terminology and relationships involved, without getting stuck at the input field before they have even begun.
An imperfect, slightly vague description can still be a starting point.
