Thailand Supreme Court just set a precedent: $BTC is officially recognized as property under Thai law.

The case: 2.48 $BTC stolen from a foreign tourist. Court upheld 10-year sentence + ordered the thief to return the $BTC or pay equivalent value.

Why this matters:

• First time Thai Supreme Court acknowledged $BTC's market value, transferability, and exchangeability
• Strengthens legal protection for crypto holders against theft
• Sets foundation for future property rights cases in Thailand

Note: $BTC still isn't legal tender there. This is purely about property rights in criminal context.

But the precedent is bullish. More legal clarity = more institutional confidence = more capital inflow into the space.
