The 1% Risk Formula: How to Stay in the Game Even If You Lose 5 Trades in a Row đŸ›ĄïžđŸ“‰

You don't need a 90% win rate to be a profitable trader. You just need a solid Risk-to-Reward (R:R) strategy. Most traders fail because a single bad trade wipes out weeks of gains.

Here is how the 1% Risk Strategy will change your trading:

Calculate the 1% Limit: If your trading capital is $1,000, 1% is $10. This means if your trade hits its Stop-Loss, you should lose exactly $10, no more.

Size Your Position Correctly: Never use your entire wallet on one trade. If your stop-loss is 5% away from your entry, only use the size that makes a 5% drop equal to $10 (i.e., a $200 position size).

Aim for a Minimum 1:2 R:R: Make sure the distance to your Take-Profit is at least twice as large as the distance to your Stop-Loss.

The Math: If you lose 5 trades ($50 loss) but win 5 trades with a 1:2 R:R ($100 gain), you are still heavily in profit!

Control your risk first, and the profits will follow.
