$ZEC turns 10 today, and the 1,268 level I flagged yesterday is now the line to watch.
Price pushed through 1,268 and 1,296 and is trading around $1,300 (it was 1,233 when I posted). NU7 (25-second blocks) is due around Nov 5, and Grayscale's Zcash ETF just had its best weekly inflows since mid-September.
But positioning was heavily short before this move, so part of it is likely a squeeze. Squeezes fade fast once the covering is done.
Levels I'm watching (not advice):
• 1h closes holding above 1,268 → breakout stays intact
• 1,360–1,366 (last week's high) → first real test
• A 1h close back below 1,268 → squeeze fading, not a trend
• Sell-the-news risk into NU7 is real
Anniversary hype or real breakout? Where do you stand?
