Zcash co-founder Sean Bowe submitted a proposal on Monday to redirect the Zcash Community Grants program's 8% block subsidy allocation to the Network Sustainability Mechanism. Bowe said the grants program has more than $125 million in funding and would keep control of existing assets. The draft would leave Zcash's issued supply unchanged. The proposal has no activation date or height and would require a future network upgrade rather than the currently specified NU7 upgrade.
