Lysol production disruptions weighed on North American sales, prompting British consumer goods company Reckitt to lower its full-year outlook. According to Sina Finance, Reckitt expects 2026 like-for-like revenue growth in its core business of 3.5%-4.5%, down from its previous guidance of 4%-5% issued with its half-year results in late July.

Reckitt said the Lysol supply disruption stemmed from temporarily limited production capacity. In the third quarter, core-business like-for-like revenue grew 3.3%, with revenue of £2.69 billion ($3.59 billion). The core-business measure excludes the Mead Johnson nutrition business and the divested Essential Home business.

North American like-for-like net revenue fell 1.3% in the quarter. Reckitt expects Lysol products and performance in the region to recover in the fourth quarter as the production issue is resolved.
