Conservative activist Nick Sortor says he's been approaching unlicensed street vendors in Times Square, negotiating with them, then asking about citizenship status—claiming they suddenly "forget how to speak English." He notes it's a felony to falsely claim U.S. citizenship and suggests vendors are coached to avoid that line. Sortor argues ICE could easily clear the area but says DHS leadership blocks enforcement. He was joined by New Jersey Councilman Conor Sweeney during the walkthrough.
