Understand These 3 Trading Tools Before You Regret Slippage!
Hello, Square Community! 🚀 Many beginners think crypto trading is just about clicking "Buy" or "Sell." In reality, choosing the wrong order type can shrink your capital because the execution price ends up being too high.
To avoid missteps, let’s learn the differences between these 3 basic tools in just one minute:
1. Binance Convert (The Quickest & Easiest)
• How it works: The system provides a fixed price quote. Once you tap confirm, your assets are swapped immediately.
• Pros: Extremely simple; no need to wait in an order queue.
• Note: While it may say "0 Fees," a convenience fee is actually built into the spread (the price difference).
2. Market Order (Fastest Execution in Spot Trading)
• How it works: Your order is filled as quickly as possible at the best available price in the order book at that exact moment.
• Pros: Guaranteed execution the instant you place it.
• Risk (Slippage): If you buy a large amount when there are few sellers, you will "sweep" through the order book, forcing you to buy at a higher price. The final execution price is not guaranteed!
3. Limit Order (Full Control Over Price)
• How it works: You set your own desired buy or sell price. The order will only be filled if the market reaches that price (or a better one).
• Pros: Protects you from unfavorable slippage.
• Cons: There is no guarantee the order will be filled if the market price never reaches your target.
📌 Quick Tips:
• Have a small amount of capital? Don’t worry—Bitcoin is divisible! You can start trading on Binance with as little as 5–10 USDT.
• Want convenience without waiting in a queue? Use "Convert."
• Want to enter the market instantly during normal volatility? Use a "Market Order."
• Want to secure a discount or hit a precise selling target? Use a "Limit Order." Always use Limit Orders.
