$CAP Drops 4.3% on 2.4x Volume: Liquidity Grab or Bullish Continuation?

$CAP just experienced a sharp 4.3% flush with a 2.4x volume spike. Is this a warning sign for bulls or a potential liquidity grab before another move higher?

Market Structure and Bias

My bias remains bullish on the 1H and daily timeframes, where price continues to form higher highs and higher lows. The sudden 15M sell-off could represent a liquidity sweep rather than confirmed distribution, but confirmation is essential before taking a position.

Open interest has surged, while the taker ratio remains above 1.0, suggesting aggressive buying activity. However, rising open interest can increase volatility in either direction, and bearish BTC conditions make this setup riskier.

Entry Strategy and Key Levels

Potential entry zone: 0.09682–0.09074, covering the demand and previous breaker area.

Alternatively, a confirmed breakout and successful retest of 0.11172 could offer another opportunity.

Before entering, I want to see a bullish engulfing candle or rejection pin bar, followed by a 5M or 15M bullish market structure shift. Volume should also cool toward average levels after the initial volatility.

Avoid chasing the wick. Let price confirm the setup first.

Profit Targets

TP1: 0.11172

TP2: 0.13000

The first objective is a retest of 0.11172. If price breaks above this resistance and holds it as support, 0.13000 becomes a potential continuation target.

Risk Management

A confirmed close below 0.07852 would invalidate my bullish thesis and shift my bias toward bearish. Monitor the latest higher low for early signs of structural weakness.

Derivatives Snapshot

- Open Interest: $30.6M (+89.4% in 24 hours)
- Funding Rate: +0.0472%
- Taker Ratio: 1.11x
- Volume: 2.4x spike

Will CAP reclaim 0.11172 and push higher, or will sellers take control?
