Binance charges regular users a 0.1% maker and taker fee on Spot trades and 0.02% maker / 0.05% taker on USDⓈ-M Futures with USDT, as of October 2026. Your rate drops as your 30-day volume and BNB balance grow, and you can cut it further by paying fees in BNB or opening your account with a fee-saving sign-up code.

How do Binance trading fees work?

Every trade pays a small percentage of its value. Whether you pay the maker or the taker rate depends on how your order fills.

  • Maker: your order waits in the order book, like a limit order below the current price.

  • Taker: your order fills right away against existing orders, like a market order.

The fee is charged on the full trade value. On Futures that means the full position size, not just the margin you put up.

What are the Spot trading fees?

Regular users pay 0.100% maker and 0.100% taker on Spot and Margin. Paying the fee with BNB takes 25% off, which brings it to 0.075%.

Binance's Spot and Margin fee schedule. Regular users start at 0.100% maker and taker, or 0.075% with BNB.

VIP 1 starts at 1,000,000 USD of 30-day volume and 5 BNB, with 0.090% maker and 0.100% taker. Higher VIP levels keep lowering the rate, but most people stay at the regular level.

What are the Futures trading fees?

On USDⓈ-M Futures with USDT, regular users pay 0.0200% maker and 0.0500% taker. Paying with BNB takes 10% off, to 0.0180% and 0.0450%.

USDⓈ-M Futures fee rates by level. Regular users start at 0.0200% maker and 0.0500% taker.

Because Futures volume adds up fast, the taker fee matters most. $200,000 of taker volume in a month costs about $100 in fees at the regular rate.

How can you pay less in trading fees?

There are four simple ways to lower what you pay.

  1. Open your account with a fee-saving code. Code 20LESSFEES gives a flat 20% off Spot and Futures trading fees, for as long as you trade. It can only be added when you register.

  2. Pay fees with BNB. Turn it on in your account to get 25% off Spot fees and 10% off USDⓈ-M Futures fees.

  3. Use limit orders when you can. Maker fees are lower than taker fees on Futures.

  4. Trade fewer, larger orders. Constant small trades add up quickly in fees.

What does 20% off fees save in practice?

  • Spot, $10,000 a month: $10 in fees at 0.1%, or $8 with 20% off.

  • Futures, $200,000 taker volume a month: $100 in fees, or $80 with 20% off.

  • Futures, $1,000,000 a month: $500 in fees, so you keep $100 every month.

Trading fees are only part of the cost. Moving money out has its own charges, explained in our guide to Binance withdrawal fees.
