U.S. spot @Ripple $XRP exchange-traded funds are back in positive territory. The products are up roughly $4.25 million in net flows so far this week, following their first weekly net outflow in around three months.

Inflows resume after a short break

Last week's reversal was modest. TokenPost reported that U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded about $1.84 million in net outflows during the October 12 to 16 trading week, ending 13 consecutive weeks of net inflows. The preceding week had brought in $11.31 million, according to the same report.

The outflow was concentrated in a single product. Canary Capital's XRPC fund accounted for a $2.47 million outflow on October 16, per TokenPost. Crypto Briefing noted that this was the first negative week since mid-July.

Flows have since turned. Data from SoSoValue cited by TokenPost show XRP spot ETFs attracted $3.55 million on October 22, a second consecutive day of net inflows, with Franklin Templeton's XRPZ accounting for all of it. FXStreet separately reported about $709,000 in inflows on Wednesday after two days of muted activity.

Assets near $1.5 billion lead the altcoin ETF field

The funds remain among the largest in the spot altcoin ETF category. SoSoValue data cited by U.Today put net assets at $1.49 billion, with cumulative historical inflows above $1.8 billion. Crypto Briefing said total net assets sit between roughly $1.47 billion and $1.57 billion depending on the reporting date, and that the gap versus cumulative inflows reflects movements in the price of the underlying XRP.

That price backdrop has been weaker. FXStreet noted that XRP has been trading near the $1.30 level, with technical indicators pointing to a fragile structure. Analysts caution that weekly flow data does not explain why investors move money, and TokenPost stressed that one negative week does not establish a sustained change in demand.

For now, the return to inflows suggests the October outflow was a brief pause rather than a reversal of demand. Whether the trend holds will depend on both fund flows and the direction of XRP's price in the coming weeks.
