Bitcoin ETF Outflows Hit Highest Level Since June 2025: Will the $81K Support Hold?

The biggest Bitcoin story this week is ETF flows. On October 22, Bitcoin ETFs saw about $635.5 million in outflows, the largest single-day outflow since June 2025. BlackRock's IBIT led the exits, followed by Fidelity's FBTC and ARK 21Shares' ARKB.

Where is the price?

On October 24, Bitcoin is trading around $81,600, roughly 35% below its all-time high of $126,200. The price is also down more than 5% over the past month.

Why does $81K matter?

The $81,000 level is widely seen as the estimated cost basis for US spot Bitcoin ETF investors. When price sits near this level, many investors are close to breakeven or in a small loss, so pressure from both buyers and sellers can build quickly.

Market mood

The Fear and Greed Index sits at 50, which means the market is neutral. Traders are waiting to see which way the next big move goes.

3 simple points for beginners:

1. ETF flows show how big investors feel, but they are not the only driver. Macro news moves price too.
2. If a support level breaks, do not trade emotionally. Plan your entries and exits in advance.
3. Only risk money you can afford to lose.
