Not all ghosts are scary — sometimes it’s enough to let our imaginations run wild

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, not only because of its eerie aesthetic, but also because the change in our surrounding environment can sometimes have a tremendous effect on the state of our minds

I recently stumbled upon an interesting observation that I’ve made about myself

If I’m in a room filled with shadows during the day, there is little to nothing that can trigger my imagination. However, once it gets dark outside, it seems that any ordinary sight can become a pillar of inspiration for me 😂

In this regard, I felt inspired to do something extraordinary this year in preparation for Halloween

You see, there are times when being surrounded by the right tools and environment can be one of the best ways to fuel your creativity. So, with this in mind, I decided to design a little something for Binance’s Halloween this year. A dark background, some glowing oranges in the background, a cute pumpkin, and a Binance logo to complete the look — that’s all it took to put this little concept together! 🎃🟡

What I loved most about this particular project was the fact that I could use the same object (the pumpkin) and showcase it in such a different environment with contrasting aesthetics. Sometimes the pumpkin looked cute, sometimes it did, in fact, resemble a ghost! For me, this was the perfect chance to experiment a little bit with lighting and play around with shadows.

I believe that there are some interesting parallels between this little project of mine and the world of crypto.

Often times the environment around us has a more powerful effect on our decisions than we might expect. For example, when the market is green, everything looks positive and promising, whereas once the bears take over, the same project might appear to be a scam. Similarly to how the same pumpkin can look different in different environments, the same asset can appear to be a bubble in a red market and a trustworthy investment in a green one. Market fluctuations and unpredictable news about projects can push us to make certain decisions without being fully aware of what’s going on.

Halloween taught me one valuable lesson — not all ghosts are scary and not all bubbles are fake. In both crypto and day-to-day life, it can be critical to take a step back and observe the environment before making an impulse-buy.

In this regard, I felt that my little Binance Halloween project was not only a fun way to engage with the community but also a creative way to exercise my observation skills. I had a lot of fun with this concept, and I hope you have fun reading about it! For me, this was a great opportunity to explore a different side of Binance, observe the environment, and think creatively. What about you? 👀

🎃 If you were to design your own Binance Halloween concept, what would it include? A cute pumpkin, a spooky trading station, or something else entirely? I’m eager to see your ideas and hear your thoughts! Let’s spread some Halloween cheer across the Binance community! 👻💛

Happy Halloween, Binance Community! 🎃🟡
