$AI bubble cracks and hits crypto: Can Nasdaq drag Bitcoin below 80K?*
The correlation is back — and it's brutal.
Nasdaq is dumping AI capex fears, and BTC is paying for it.
Here's why $80K is NOT safe anymore:
*1. ETF money just flipped*
$636M walked out of Bitcoin ETFs yesterday. Biggest single-day outflow since June.
IBIT alone gave back $254M — one day after taking in $235M. That's not slow selling, that's a full flip.
*2. The floor is getting thinner*
BTC wicked to $80,989 overnight — another tag of the $80K - $81.5K floor this month.
The more a floor gets tested, the thinner the bids under it get.
The 50-day EMA sits right at $80.2K. A daily close under it opens $78K - $79K FAST.
*3. The real magnet is lower*
$76K - $77K is where the 100 and 200-day EMAs stack with the cost basis of the big wallets that bought in Q3.
Below that, there is nothing until the short-term holder realized price near $74.5K.
*4. Leverage is gone*
$397M in longs got liquidated on the way down and Open Interest already dropped 18% in a day. The market is de-risking, not dip-buying.
My base case for next week: $76K
Not because Bitcoin is broken, but because Nasdaq is leading this move. If AI stocks keep bleeding, BTC will follow — at least until the ETF outflows stop.
Are you buying the $80K test, or waiting for $76K?
