🚨 THE $41.94M ZORA UNLOCK ON OCT 23 NEVER HAPPENED

Several unlock calendars flagged a $41.94M $ZORA unlock, roughly 10% of supply, for Oct 23. It does not exist. A full schedule check on Tokenomist shows the next real ZORA unlock lands Oct 30: 166.67M tokens, about $1.09M, 2.94% of released supply, allocated to Treasury and Investor tranches.

THE MATH THAT MATTERS:
(rumor) $41.94M = (real event) $1.09M x 38
(unlock size) $1.09M vs (24h spot volume) $8.47M = ~13% of one day's trading

ZORA trades at $0.0064, down 5.2% this week, market cap $28.8M (CoinGecko). The real unlock is a rounding error against daily volume.

Why this matters anyway: the same recycled-date trick showed up on AXS, TIA and OP calendars this month, and each was later debunked as an old 2025 unlock being re-scraped. Bad unlock data is not harmless, it triggers real panic selling over events that are not coming. If a calendar site got ZORA's date wrong by a full week and 38x on size, its other entries deserve a second look.

Counterpoint: a small unlock is not a free pass. ZORA slid with the market this week on a risk-off tape, BTC holding near $81.6K after Thursday's $268M ETF outflow. Price action here is driven by the tape, not by Oct 30, though exchange inflows around Oct 30 are still worth watching.

My take: the scare was 38x the reality. Trade the verified schedule, not the scraped headline.

🐂 Oct 30 is a verified non-event, nothing to position for
🐻 If calendars are wrong on ZORA, they are wrong elsewhere too
