Miners are leaving for AI — so who just pushed Bitcoin's hashrate to a 7-month high?

7-day avg topped 1 ZH/s on Oct 22, highest since March 3 (BlocksBridge) — while listed miners shed ~23% of realized hashrate pivoting into AI.

Why it matters: that power isn't leaving. ~$1.5B of displaced ASICs is being absorbed by smaller operators via secondhand rigs; difficulty +5.92% on Oct 16, ~5.16% more projected. Competition is NOT easing.

$BTC near $81.8K, network harder to attack than at any point in 7 months. Hashrate is security, not a price signal.

AI pivot or bargain rigs?
