Misael Rosario's companies allege that 15 unauthorized wire transfers removed about $6.52 million from the companies' First Horizon Bank accounts over three days in March. The amended complaint says a caller impersonated Rosario before someone accessed the accounts from an unfamiliar New York IP address. The companies seek more than $4.5 million that remains unreimbursed after law enforcement recovered some funds. The lawsuit alleges First Horizon already knew about a similar account takeover involving another customer. First Horizon says the bank has requested partial dismissal and will vigorously defend the case.
