$BTC | Call it altcoin season and you'd be early by four years. SatoshiMacro's Altcoin Season Index reads 60 today, Lean Alt, with 30 of the top 50 beating Bitcoin over 90 days while BTC itself is up 26.6 percent. That's not an Altcoin Season print. The index needs 75 plus at month end, and it hasn't cleared that since August 2022. Two rallies got close and missed: November 2024 topped at 70, September 2025 at 71. My read is the misses matter more than the 60. One honest limit: this index confirms a rotation under way, it doesn't call the next one early. Before the 31 October lodgement deadline, rotating BTC into alts is usually a CGT event under ATO rules, not a tax-free switch.
