BITCOIN: THE BREAKOUT FAILED. WHAT COMES NEXT? ₿

$BTC briefly approached $84,900 before retreating toward $83,000 on October 22.

The market is facing a familiar test: can buyers turn a short-lived breakout into a sustainable trend?

Here’s what matters:

🔹 Resistance: $84,000–$84,900. Reclaiming this zone could reopen the path toward $87,000.

🔹 First support: Around $82,500. Holding this area would help stabilize the short-term structure.

🔹 Bearish scenario: A decisive loss of $82,500 could expose $81,200 and potentially $79,800.

Institutional demand has offered some support, with reports indicating more than $1 billion in recent weekly Bitcoin ETF inflows. However, weaker technology stocks and macro uncertainty remain potential headwinds.

My interpretation: ETF inflows can support a bullish thesis, but they cannot guarantee an immediate breakout.

I want to see price acceptance above resistance, not just another wick above it.

The difference between a breakout and a trap is confirmation.
