Why: NEAR's House of Stake vote to cut token issuance closes November 2 at 16:48 UTC and needs a supermajority. The proposal models gross staking yield dropping from 5.268% to 3.372% at the target rate — less new supply, thinner rewards. Roughly 46% of NEAR is already staked, about 596M tokens.
Less issuance into a 46% staked float is what the tape is front-running on $NEAR — a failed vote removes that bid. Beside it, $XRP is barely moving at +2.35% on $143M, while $ENA is the only alt running harder today at +8.92%.
