$NEAR is ~$5.27 at 07:12 ICT Oct 22 on Binance spot (+7% in 24h, ~$170M volume). Oct 21 closed at $5.262, back at the top of a 9-day range. Here is my plan without chasing.

🔥 What's moving it

• Oct 20: NEAR launched NEAR Business, an invite-only confidential multisig treasury (payroll, vendor payments, swaps across 35+ chains), running on NEAR Intents.

• Oct 21: confidential XRP swaps and payments went live inside NEAR's Confidential Intents. That service held ~$160M in assets at Sept 30, up ~463% QoQ.

• Oct 21: a House of Stake vote (HSP-029) opened to cut max annual NEAR issuance from 2.5% to 1.6%, phased in over 24 months after a 90-day grace period. Validators still need to adopt a separate upgrade, so nothing changes yet.

• NEAR AI also reported more than 1M NEAR staked to pay for AI inference.

None of these is a hard deadline. It's a news cluster, not a dated catalyst.

📊 Daily (1D)

Big picture: NEAR ran from ~$1.8 in late August to a $6.00 wick on Oct 12. Since Oct 13 it has ranged $4.53–5.45.

The daily EMA20 (~$4.97) held through that chop, with only one close below it (Oct 17). The EMA50 (~$4.26) is far below.

Oct 21: $4.932 → $5.262 (+6.7%). Volume ~32.6M NEAR, right at the 20-day average (~32.2M). Healthy, not explosive.

Wilder RSI(14) ~57: neutral-bullish, room to run.

⏱️ 4H

The 4H pushed from the Oct 20 low ($4.634) to $5.451, the same area as the Oct 15 high ($5.44). That's the range top.

Price is now above the 4H EMA20 (~$5.08) and EMA50 (~$5.05). Wilder RSI(14) ~59.

Best retest zone: $5.05–5.15, where both 4H EMAs and the Oct 19 high ($5.141) stack.

🎯 Bull / bear levels

• Bid: $5.05–5.15

• Add: $4.92–4.97 (daily EMA20 + Oct 21 low $4.908)

• TP1: $5.45–5.59 (Oct 21 high + Oct 8 high, ~1.35–1.9R from $5.10)

• TP2: $5.90–6.00 (Oct 11–12 highs, ~3.1–3.5R)

• Out: 4H close below $4.85

• Bull trigger: a 4H close above $5.46 breaks the range top and opens TP2.

• Bear case: lose $4.85 and the $4.62–4.63 lows (Oct 18 / Oct 20) are back in play.

Chasing from ~$5.27 gives only ~0.4–0.7R to TP1. Not worth it.

💭 My take

The news flow is real, but it's product launches and a vote that still needs validators, not a deadline. The $5.40–5.45 area capped the Oct 15 and Oct 21 highs. So I'd rather get filled on the 4H EMA retest than buy right under $5.45. If it never dips, I wait for a 4H close above $5.46 and re-plan.

Where are you bidding $NEAR : the 4H EMA retest, or only after $5.46 breaks? 👇
