Stocks taught me what it means to own a piece of a company. Bonds showed me the other side: lending.

In @Binance Academy Understanding Bonds course, I learned every bond has a face value, coupon, and maturity. Issuers raise funds from many investors, keeping ownership, unlike equity. When rates rise, older bonds tend to fall. Riskier bonds tend to pay more, and ratings are opinions, not guarantees. Despite interest rate, credit, and inflation risk, bonds bring income, relative stability, and diversification.

Now I see markets as a balance between owning and lending.
