Why is nobody talking about the real Bitcoin buyers while everyone panics over treasury copycats?
Traders keep dumping $BTC on every headline about copycat sales, locking in losses and missing the rebound that follows when they finally check the actual data.
Asset managers on CME including pension funds and insurers went net long 3,642 Bitcoin contracts on 13 October, up from 2,760 four weeks earlier. That is roughly 18,200 $BTC , an increase of about a third. Leveraged funds trimmed their net shorts from -6,354 to -5,844 contracts at the same time. Price is not dumping. $BTC sits around $83,170 and $ETH is holding with it instead of cascading lower.
Ignore the noisy treasury stories. Watch the CFTC positioning and actual price levels to time entries instead of selling into every scare.
