Everyone thinks a rising channel means the trend is basically guaranteed, but actually it is just a path that stays valid only while the higher lows keep holding.

The usual pain is buying the latest high after missing the earlier move, then watching price slip back inside the channel and turn a "safe" grind into a loss you never sized for.

Picture a staircase. Each step up is a higher high, and the flat you stand on before the next step is a higher low. Price has been grinding higher inside that rising channel, printing those higher highs and higher lows in order. On $BTC that kind of climb can look calm for a long stretch, and the same pattern shows up on $ETH when buyers keep defending each pullback. The risk is treating the staircase like it has no last step. $BNB traders see this too: the channel feels comfortable right up until a higher low fails and late entries get stuck.

A grind higher is not the same thing as a free ride. The structure only tells you the trend is intact while those higher lows survive. Miss that, and you are reacting to candles that already happened instead of the level that would actually change the story.

Are you buying every new high, or are you watching the higher low that would break the channel?
