Last week was ugly for spot Bitcoin ETFs. They lost about $681M in one week, then roughly $229M more this week. Then something changed.
CoinDesk reported that the latest daily data showed the biggest single-day inflow in nearly a month. Almost all of it came from BlackRock, while Fidelity's FBTC lost $83.6M and Grayscale's GBTC lost $54.9M. So it was one big buyer, not a broad one.
Bitcoin is back near $83K, and the Fear & Greed Index jumped to 63 from 55. The market is still in a range, with $83K to $83.4K as the area it keeps failing to clear.
The macro backdrop is unchanged: hot inflation numbers, oil swinging on Iran headlines, and a Fed decision on October 28.
One day doesn't make a trend. Do you see this as the start of a reversal or just a one-off?
