Blockchain.com adds options trading to its crypto offering.
According to The Block, Blockchain.com has launched options trading for eligible users in supported jurisdictions, expanding its range of crypto trading products.
The new offering allows users to buy call and put options on seven assets:
➤ BTC
➤ ETH
➤ SOL
➤ HYPE
➤ AVAX
➤ XRP
➤ TRX
Contracts have expiries of up to one week and are funded upfront in USDC through the platform’s Trading Account. The upfront purchase cost represents the maximum potential loss on an option contract, although users should still understand the product’s terms and risks before trading.
The launch follows Blockchain.com’s introduction of perpetual futures earlier this year, marking another step in the company’s expansion into crypto derivatives.
With both perps and options now part of its offering, Blockchain.com is broadening the trading tools available to eligible crypto users.
