Complex applications rarely consist of one isolated operation.

A frontend might request a quote, check wallet connectivity, simulate a transaction, submit it, and then retrieve its result. A failure at any stage can leave the user uncertain about what actually happened.

Robust applications should identify the failed step and communicate it accurately.

→ A quote failure should not be presented as a completed swap.
→ A submission timeout should not automatically be treated as proof of failure.
→ A confirmed transaction should not disappear from the interface because a later data request failed.

These distinctions matter throughout DeFi, including applications used to access SUN.io services.

Error handling is not merely a developer concern. It determines whether users can recover safely when an unexpected event occurs.
