An institutional entity recently lost approximately $2.3 million (973,000 MORPHO) across two wallet addresses, with the stolen funds subsequently deposited into Tornado Cash.
Both addresses involved in the theft utilized EIP-7702 delegation transactions. On October 9, one of the affected addresses also had around $3.5 million stolen from old bridges. Those funds were bridged from $ETH to Zcash through Near Intents and shielded into the Ironwood pool.
The primary address shares on-chain overlaps with a wallet suspected to belong to Nima Capital. The family office reportedly suffered an eight-figure loss following a private key compromise in September 2023, after which it allegedly exited the crypto space.
