Builder in Nansana asked me yesterday: "QR on bag is good, but what about receipt?" đ€
Good question. I went back to the shop today (photo).
If QR only on BAG:
â Proves cement is real
â Bag torn = proof gone
If QR also on RECEIPT like this:
â Bag = real + Sale = real = double trust
â Builder keeps receipt for client, shows later
â Shop keeps proof they sold real - no blame if wall cracks
â Still private: shows shop + amount, NOT your name or site
Day 11 was Builder 1 story: 1 fake bag = 1.2M UGX loss = 35 bags. That's why receipt matters - it's shop's insurance too.
Cost? Still ~200 UGX total for both. Less than 1% of 38,500 bag.
This is learning journal, not financial advice. Day 12 đșđŹ
Do you keep your hardware receipts or throw them? Receipt with QR would you keep? đ
