A real trading bot shows you a backtest with a drawdown in it. A fake one shows you a fixed daily number on $FET .

Binance warned on October 20 about platforms that show fake profits, pay out small, then freeze withdrawals, and the AI label is new paint on three old tricks.

1. The "AI bot" promising 1.5% a day on $FET: nothing earns a fixed number on a coin at 0.197 USDT and down 9% on the week, so ask where the yield comes from, and if the answer is "the AI", walk, because Binance's own Spot Grid bot shows a backtest and a worst case, never a return, and any bot that gets your API key gets one with withdrawals off and locked to an IP.

2. The founder video pushing a giveaway: the Sophos AI Security 2026 report calls deepfakes a working tool, and World ID for Zoom went live October 19 because a live face no longer proves a human, so act on the project's own page, never on a video.

3. The support account that messages you first: real Binance support doesn't open the chat, so run the handle or link through Binance Verify at binance.com/en/official-verification first, and never share a 2FA code or API key.

Today's data says FET is a volatile AI token like any other, and a fixed daily number on it sells the promise, not the trade.
