PingCAP acknowledged that some internal operational data was accessed without authorization. SlowMist's chief information security officer said the extortion and disclosure group FulcrumSec publicly claimed to have stolen approximately 10.6 terabytes from TiDB Cloud. PingCAP said no product vulnerabilities were involved and that customer databases and business data would not be affected.
