Bitcoin tried to push toward $83K, couldn't, and slid back to around $81.5K. Volume is thin and the move looks tired.

Glassnode's read on Monday was that selling has slowed, but neither spot buyers nor ETF buyers are stepping in. Perpetual futures traders drove most of the recent selling, ETF volumes dropped, and options traders are paying more for downside protection. Spot Bitcoin ETFs have also posted outflows two weeks in a row: about $681M, then roughly $229M so far this week.

Levels traders are watching: $82K as resistance, $81.2K as the first support, then $80K below it.

The macro calendar isn't helping. September CPI came in at 3.7% versus the 3.6% forecast, and the Fed decides on October 28. The Fear & Greed Index slipped to 55 from 59.

Where do you think Bitcoin breaks first, $80K or $84K?
