$AAVE the Market Is Pulling Back, but DeFi Lending Is Still Building 👀

What interests me about AAVE right now is the difference between short-term price weakness and the activity happening underneath the protocol.

AAVE has recently pulled back alongside the broader altcoin market, falling around 14% over seven days in the latest reported data. But this correction comes while Aave continues expanding its lending infrastructure and developing new use cases.

One detail worth watching: Aave V4 surpassed $1 billion in deposits in September, while its ecosystem continued expanding across additional networks. That matters because a lending protocol’s long-term value depends on real usage, liquidity and sustainable revenue—not just token price momentum.

The latest figures add more context:

- $18.0B — Aave’s reported total value locked.
- $38.36M — Fees generated over the past 30 days.
- $5.02M — Protocol revenue over the same period.
- $150.92 — Reported AAVE price in the latest available market snapshot.

The key distinction is that fees are not the same as revenue, and strong protocol activity does not automatically mean the token must rise. The market still needs confidence in demand, token value capture and the broader DeFi environment.

My AAVE trading plan:

🟢 Bullish scenario: Buyers defend the recent support zone and reclaim $155–$158 with convincing volume. A sustained breakout could bring $165 into focus.

🔴 Bearish scenario: Price fails to recover $155 and breaks below the recent $145–$147 area. That would suggest sellers remain in control and could expose lower support.

These are conditional levels, not guaranteed targets. I would wait for price confirmation rather than enter simply because AAVE has fallen.

My conclusion: Aave’s development story remains interesting, but the next move depends on whether market demand catches up with that progress. I’m watching the relationship between protocol growth and price action not buying a dip blindly.
