Archax (@ArchaxEx) has adopted Chainlink (@chainlink) $LINK Data Streams for $GOVY, its 24/7 tokenized U.S. Treasury product. The integration is designed to give the asset low-latency pricing data for the institutional market.

The move is aimed at making tokenized Treasuries more useful beyond simply holding them. Institutions could use their Treasury holdings as programmable collateral for lending and trading, with the goal of improving capital efficiency and automating collateral management, according to Archax.

What the Chainlink integration does

Archax is a digital asset platform regulated by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority. It has integrated Chainlink Data Streams to supply pricing data for $GOVY, with the aim of enabling onchain lending, collateral and treasury-management applications for banks, asset managers and decentralised finance users. The integration also extends the distribution of $GOVY across Ethereum, Hedera, Stellar and other networks.

The companies argue that reliable data is a prerequisite for collateral use. Making a regulated asset available onchain is only the first step, and for automated lending, trading or collateral management, institutions also need reliable data to value the asset and manage risk. Reliable valuations let applications calculate borrowing capacity and loan-to-value ratios more accurately.

Nick Donovan, chief revenue officer at Archax, said institutions need more than a digital representation of an asset, and require regulated custody, clear legal rights and dependable market data.

How $GOVY works

$GOVY gives eligible investors direct, legally enforceable exposure to short-dated U.S. Treasury bills, held 1:1 in regulated custody. When a bill matures, it is automatically replaced with an equivalent short-dated security, so holders keep continuous exposure without managing maturities or reinvestment manually. Archax provides regulated custody, while Northern Trust holds the underlying securities.

Compared with Treasury ETFs, Archax says $GOVY is built for always-on markets, with transfers between whitelisted wallets, the option to take delivery of the underlying tokenized T-Bills, and 24/7/365 subscription and redemption using supported stablecoins. Archax launched the product in June 2026.

For $LINK followers, the deal is another example of institutional adoption of Chainlink's data infrastructure in tokenized real-world assets. Whether the collateral use cases translate into meaningful lending and trading volume will depend on how many banks, asset managers and DeFi protocols integrate $GOVY.
