BNB Chain completed its 37th quarterly BNB Auto-Burn, removing about 1.646 million BNB worth roughly $1 billion at the reference price. The Auto-Burn mechanism determines the amount based on BNB’s price and the number of BNB Smart Chain blocks produced during the quarter, with the long-term goal of reducing total BNB supply to 100 million. BNB Chain also continues to burn a portion of gas fees through BEP-95.
