Deutsche Bank plans to launch a crypto asset custody service in Germany within weeks, but the service still requires regulatory approval. The service will allow corporate and institutional clients to hold and transfer cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. BaFin granted the relevant authorization under MiCA on October 12. Deutsche Bank plans to expand the service to Asia in 2027 but has not disclosed the preferred regions.
