Strategy dropped 9.56% on Friday. Saylor’s response this weekend?
“We found room for more orange.” 🍊
That brings me to a question: if Bitcoin is your strongest investment thesis, why abandon it just to chase bigger returns?
Some investors look at a hypothetical BTC move from $60K to $180K and decide a 3x isn’t enough.
So they buy smaller tokens with bigger promises—and often much weaker investment cases.
BTC is King. That’s my starting point.
MSTR offers a different route: potentially amplified Bitcoin exposure through a publicly traded company.
Buy the shares outright with your own cash, and you have no recurring perpetual-futures funding charge and no margin liquidation price on that position.
For a potential 2028–2029 bull market, that distinction matters. You can hold through volatility without personally maintaining a leveraged futures trade.
But the financing still has an economic cost.
Strategy carries debt, preferred dividend obligations and dilution risk. Its share valuation can also move independently of Bitcoin.
Could MSTR deliver a 7–8x in a favorable cycle? That is a speculative upside scenario, not a calculated target or a fixed multiple of BTC’s return.
It would require the right entry price, strong Bitcoin performance, favorable financing and a supportive stock valuation.
My thesis: MSTR deserves consideration when seeking more upside while keeping Bitcoin as the main underlying driver.
Conviction in BTC supports the case. Strategy’s execution and the price paid for its shares decide whether that case translates into shareholder returns.
Would you rather chase smaller tokens or accept corporate risk for amplified Bitcoin exposure?
