A useful identity system for AI agents has to solve two problems at once: it must make accountability possible, and it must not turn identity verification into surveillance. Concordium’s model for XDC AI separates those concerns. A verified owner completes identity checks through an independent identity provider; no name, document number, or photograph is stored on-chain. Anyone can verify that an accountable owner stands behind an agent, but casual counterparties cannot read who that owner is. Disclosure is designed to follow a narrow legal route rather than platform or counterparty demand. That is an important architectural principle for agentic commerce: trust should be checkable, while personal data remains protected. As agents begin placing orders and settling invoices, this balance may determine whether businesses actually adopt them. $CCD #Bullish #Macro Insights#
