AI Agents Need More Than Intelligence — They Need a Way to Participate in the Economy

I've been thinking about what happens when AI agents move beyond answering questions and start performing real tasks.

An agent might research opportunities, coordinate with other agents, or execute a workflow. But intelligence alone isn't enough. These agents also need a reliable way to interact, coordinate, and create value within an economy.

That's why Kite is an interesting project to follow. The bigger opportunity isn't simply making AI smarter; it's building the infrastructure that helps AI agents work together and participate in a more open digital economy.

For me, the key question is this: What happens when AI agents can do more than assist humans—and can actually coordinate economic activity?

We're still early in this shift, and the infrastructure built today could shape how the agent economy develops tomorrow.

I'm watching how Kite approaches this challenge, and I'm interested to see what builders create next.

What do you think will matter most for the agent economy: smarter AI models, reliable coordination, or the infrastructure connecting everything?
