Day 8 I asked WHO PAYS for QR verification?
Yesterday I asked 3 builders in my area. Their answers were different:
Builder 1 (Building own house): "I will pay 1000 UGX extra, not 500, if it stops fake. I lost 1.2M last year on weak cement."
Builder 2 (Contractor): "Make factory pay. They make money from brand. If fake ruins their name, they should protect it."
Builder 3 (Young builder): "Let us share - 200 factory, 300 me. Fair."
What I learned about $DUSK today:
All 3 want verification, but no one agrees who pays. That's exactly why DUSK's model makes sense.
Factory can mint token = 200 UGX cost, but saves brand.
Builder pays small extra = but saves from fake that costs millions to repair.
Shop in middle = gains trust, sells more real bags.
DUSK keeps buyer private, but proof public. So factory doesn't see who builder bought from, just that bag is real.
This is not about cement only. It's about how privacy + RWA can work for small business in Uganda.
