Last night at 12:30 AM, I was about to sell my NIL.
Price was going down. My PNL was red. My battery was 55%. My heart was saying "Sell kar do, warna aur loss hoga."
I opened the sell button. Finger was there.
Then I stopped.
I asked myself - why did I buy it in the first place?
I didn't buy it because someone said "buy". I bought it because I read about it. About how @Nillion is trying to do something different - data ko bina dekhe use karna. About Covenants and DUSK going live on Ethereum.
I closed Binance. I opened the whitepaper again.
I read one line again: "Privacy stops being 'trust us' and becomes 'nothing to leak in the first place.'"
And I understood - I was not losing because project was bad. I was panicking because I was checking price every 5 minutes.
I didn't sell.
This morning, price is still same. I am still in small loss. But I am calm.
Crypto taught me something no school ever did - Sometimes not doing anything is also a decision. Sometimes holding your research is stronger than holding your fear.
Small traders like me, we check price 100 times a day. But maybe we should check our reason 1 time a day.
Not financial advice. Just what I felt at 12:30 AM.
