Pump.fun just added a 0.45% fee on trades placed through its mobile app and website. the fee starts today, October 17, after months of zero-fee Solana trading inside the app. Wallets without a referral code pay 0.45%. Those using a code pay 0.40%. It sits on top of the existing 1.25% bonding-curve charge, so a curve trade in the official app can total 1.70% before network costs. Terminal and other interfaces do not charge this fee. the platform says 100% of the revenue from the new fee will go to referral incentives and Callout Rewards. Any amount not paid to referrers increases the Callout Rewards pool, which already has a $300,000 daily baseline. There is also a limited-time 4x boost on referrer bonuses, and referred users can receive a deposit match of up to $50 under the program rules. this is not a pure platform take. The fee is collected, then routed back into the same reward pools the app already runs. The bonding-curve and PumpSwap fees stay the same. The change only applies to users who stay on the official app or site. 0.45% is the new cost for that path. Whether it changes behavior depends on how many traders stay inside the app versus move to Terminal or elsewhere. The rewards get the revenue. The fee is still paid by the trader. #BTC Price Analysis# #Macro Insights# #Altcoin Season# $SOL $PUMP
